Tiny House Nation

Mark your calendars for Wednesday August 19th at 9pm on the HGTV network. David and the tree house / play house he designed will be spotlighted during an episode of the Tiny House Nation. The program’s focus is one couples quest to build their own tiny home and Tiny House Nation visits the tree house to learn some of the unique features of David’s project. Island Tree House

Sea Side

Currently being priced out by Rideout and Turner, this one story traditional ranch is getting a selective make-over. Taking advantage of southeastern views of Casco Bay, the central core of this house is opened up to create a much more social environment for entertaining family and friends.

Our second house in the Kelsey Brook development, named Mainestay, is being constructed by Senecal Construction Services. The black membrane is a liquid-applied weather resistant barrier by Tremco Barrier Solutions called Enviro-Dri. DSC_0004

World Cup

Congratulations to the USA Womens World Cup team as they captured the spirit of the nation on the way to their third World Cup title. Gerald was able to attend a first round game with his family at Moncton Stadium in New Brunswick, Canada, and with pretty good seats. Columbia beat France 2-0 this day. IMGP7058

Gold Cup

Although David’s soccer trip this month to watch the USA Men’s team in Foxboro during their recent run in the Gold Cup was a uninspiring 1-0 win over Haiti, the opportunity to tailgate with friends always makes it worthwhile. It was also one the first time USA’s newest supporters group, Sammer’s SC, was able to gather and support the USA. IMG_7643

Bling for Blossoms

The Design Committee of Main Street Bath, which David chairs, is raffling off a beautiful 14K yellow gold, filigree basket mount .25 ring, valued at $995! Generously donated by Springer’s Jewlers in Bath, raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and can be purchased at Springers Jewlers or selected stores downtown…or contact Cathy and she can fill out tickets for as many as you would like to purchase. On the Drawing Board

At under 1,600 sf (including a one-car garage), this compact 3-bedroom cottage will be designed to be fully ADA accessible on the first floor. It will also be opened up to take advantage of water views and south-facing windows for passive solar gain. scan0004
