Nashoba Learning Group outgrew their current building and purchased an existing two-story, 40,000 sf brick building in an office park.

The building was fully renovated from an technology/office space into a hands-on school for up to 70 students ages 3 to 22.  One-on-one instruction and a vocational curriculum is used to educate this autistic population.

Much research on the behavioral and environmental requirements for these students was put into the design of this renovation, and includes classrooms, offices, gymnasium, kitchen, vocational hotel room and laundry room.

David Matero was project manager while with Stephen Blatt Architects during the phase 1, 35,000 sf renovation project.  Nashoba Learning Group asked David Matero to manage the phase 2, 5,000 sf renovation while with Nashoba Learning Group
